Sundar Pichai, CEO of Alphabet, Google’s parent company, pointed to the tremendous growth in demand for devices specialized in machine learning, which has increased by a million times over the past six years, with expectations to continue increasing at a rate of tenfold annually. He emphasized Google’s leadership in developing artificial intelligence processors for more than ten years.
Google experts confirm that the new Trillium processors outperform the fifth generation Tensor processors by 4.7 times. According to TechCrunch, Google has been able to enhance the capabilities of the Trillium chips thanks to advanced programming technologies such as (MXU), and has also succeeded in doubling the memory bandwidth in these processors compared to the previous generation of Tensor processors
